Internship Experience
01
Boca West Country Club, Hospitality Management Intern
During my time at Boca West Country Club, I delivered exceptional service to over 3,500 member families, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience for all. I greeted members with a personable attitude, assisted them with menu navigation, and provided timely beverage service. To expand my knowledge, I shadowed four managers, gaining valuable insight into organizational expectations and effective management techniques. Through this experience, I enhanced my leadership abilities not only by observing but also by actively completing hands-on tasks and participating in training opportunities.

02
The Country Club of Virginia, Manager-In-Training
My role as a Manager-in-Training is very different from my past internship experience. Over the past year, the program has allowed me to rotate through all food and beverage outlets, as well as non-F&B areas, gaining a comprehensive understanding of club operations. I began with line-level training and gradually took on management duties, an experience that strengthened my leadership, communication, and time management skills while preparing me with the knowledge I will need as a future leader. During the last four months, I served as Poolside Café Manager, where my responsibilities expanded significantly, overseeing 30 staff members and 2 supervisors. I actively utilized all the skills I had learned in training to effectively manage my team and operations while delivering exceptional member experiences.
